The Town Board met this date as per motion made at the January 3, 2011 meeting, with the following members present:  Supervisor Stanley, Councilman Bartlett, Bernstein, Jordan and Malloy.

NOTICE OF SPECIAL TOWN BOARD MEETING

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Town of Shandaken Town Board will hold a Special Town Board Meeting on Thursday January 13, 2011 at 5:00 pm.  The Purpose of this meeting will be to discuss and act on The Shandaken Police Contract.  This meeting will be held at the Town Hall, 7209 Route 28, Shandaken, New York.

Motion by Supervisor Stanley to close Special Town Board meeting and go into executive session to discuss the Police Contract, seconded by Councilmen Jordan and Malloy

Executive Session

Motion by Supervisor Stanley, to close the executive session, seconded by  Councilman Malloy, all and in favor, motion carried.

Motion by Supervisor Stanley to reopen special town board meeting, seconded by Councilman Bartlett, all in favor, motion carried.

Supervisor Stanley said that when the Police get back to us, we should act on the contract at the February Town Board meeting.

Motion by Supervisor Stanley, to hold another special town board meeting on Thursday January 20, 2011, to discuss the Police Contract, seconded by Councilman Jordan, all in favor, motion carried.

Motion by Supervisor Stanley to adjourn Special Town Board meeting, seconded by Councilman Jordan, all in favor, motion carried.
