Members of the Shandaken Police report that over the last twenty four hours they have handled numerous larcenies from unlocked vehicles in the Big Indian and Pine Hill area. This is just a reminder that theft from unlocked vehicles is a crime of opportunity. Do not leave valuables in your car, and LOCK YOUR CAR!
Items taken thus far have included loose change, credit cards and medication. The Shandaken Police in conjunction with the Ulster County Sheriff’s Office and the New York State Police are working on numerous leads at this time. Should anyone have any information please call us at (845) 688-9902.
