WHEREAS, The Department of Audit and Control require Town Boards to sign and inspect all vouchers coming into the town for payment, to number and total amounts from each fund.

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Town Board authorize the following vouchers paid:

General Fund                                        $  26,604.40

Highway Fund                                      $115,140.20

Phoenicia Water District                       $    6,393.97

Phoenicia Lighting District                  $       982.70

Chichester Lighting District                 $       138.45

Pine Hill Lighting District                       $       556.05

Pine Hill Water District                           $       330.76

WHEREAS,  the Town of Shandaken Town Board held a Public Hearing on this date at 6:00 PM to hear all those present on the 2011 Preliminary Town Budget.

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Town Board adopt the Preliminary Budget as the Town of Shandaken’s Annual Budget for 2011  and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a copy of the 2011 Annual Budget be filed with the County of Ulster.

WHEREAS, The Town Board held a Public Hearing on this date pursuant to §109-6(a) of the Code of the Town of Shandaken with regard to hearing all those present on the application of the Upper Esopus Fish & Game Association’s Logging Permit.

THEREFORE be it resolved that the Town Board issue a Logging Permit to the Upper Esopus Fish & Game Association.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that all bids must be accompanied with a non collusive bidding certificate, (available at the Town Clerk’s Office and the Town Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids.

WHEREAS,   the New York State Budget for 2010 – 2011 contains language that will eliminate the Department of Agriculture and Markets dog licensing responsibilities, including dog tag procurement, issuance of license renewals and the centralized Dog Licensing System and

WHEREAS, Municipalities will fully assume the dog licensing functions on January 1, 2011.

THEREFORE be it resolved that a public hearing be held on December 6, 2010, at _______ to hear all those present on a “Local Law to Amend Chapter 69 of the Town Code of the Town of Shandaken”, this Law shall be know as the “Dog Control Law of the Town of Shandaken” and will include the licensing functions of the same.

WHEREAS, the Ulster County Planning Board is offering two upcoming meetings or classes, one on the Greenway and one on Main Street Revitalization and

WHEREAS, it has been requested that those attending these meetings be issued Continuing Education Credits for their certifications,

THEREFORE be it resolved that the Shandaken Town Board approve Continuing Education Credits for the above mentioned meetings.
